Celebrating World Vegan Day with our Haircare

I'm a big fan of the great outdoors. I spend most of my non-working hours growing my own fruit and vegetables from seed every year or taking long walks somewhere green with a friend. I find the natural world therapeutic and joyful. Nature also provides me with endless inspiration for my work and my brand. For instance, the colour palette of my products and the fragrance are all inspired by flowers in my garden.

It’s my love of, and respect for the natural world that kicked off my brand’s journey to become vegan-friendly. Firstly I had to reformulate my existing four dry stylers – Cool Girl, Modern Hairspray, Easy Up-Do and Lazy Girl. Happily all four are now certified vegan. I then moved on to the formulations of my new products – shampoos, conditioners, and stylers. So, my vegan journey continues which means sourcing, testing and putting new formulations through their paces until we land in the right place.
