Volume Foam vs Volume Spray: which is better for volume?
Our Superlift Spray and Volume Foam both add volume, albeit a little differently. Our Cool Girl Volume Foam contains a dual-action active ingredient, Voluminis™, which thickens each hair strand whilst also pushing hair away from each other creating volume for fuller and thicker hair. Our Cool Girl Superlift Volumising Spray contains a water-based polymer Biostyle CGP, which adds volume and hold at your roots once blow-dried for fuller, thicker-looking hair.
Do I need to use all three Cool Girl volume products together?
Not at all - you can use one, or a combination. We love to use Superlift or Volume Foam when blow-drying. For an extra volume boost that lasts finish with Cool Girl Barely There Texture Mist for instant volume and texture, either as part of your routine or whilst on the go - it also comes in travel size.
What is the best product to add volume to fine or thin hair?
The entire Cool Girl collection works on all hair textures - particularly fine/thin hair. Created to be easy-to-use, the fool-proof formulas are buildable whilst leaving your hair soft to the touch and voluminous.
Do I need to use a hairdryer to get more volume?
It depends on the product! Blowdrying is a great way to inject more volume into your style, and we recommend using our Cool Girl Volume Foam or Superlift Volumising Spray.
For volume, blow dry the roots upwards to create lift or tip head upside down until 80% dry, then flip back and smooth the mid-lengths and ends by blow drying with a brush. To really pump up the volume, remove the concentrator nozzle from your hairdryer (it focuses airflow and heat which can make your hair flat). However, our Cool Girl Barely There Texture Mist creates easy to achieve volume and texture in seconds. Mist through your hair in sections and into roots for an instant lift without blow-drying.
