1. START WITH CARE

2. GENTLY AIR DRY

Your hair is most vulnerable when wet, so get as much moisture out of your hair before you start blow-drying. Ideally, your hair will be 80% air-dried before you begin styling. So either let it dry naturally or gently dry all over with your hairdryer on a medium speed and heat before using a brush.

4. USE A QUALITY BRUSH

Invest in a quality round bristle brush – or, if you can’t get the knack of using one – a paddle brush. A good brush will distribute your hair's natural oils from root to tip, gently remove any tangles and stimulate your scalp. It won’t pull or drag the hair as you style it.

5. PROTECT FROM HEAT

I always protect hair from the heat of a hairdryer. My Save the Do Blow Dry Style Starter adds a little hold, a little shine and a lot of protection. Spray evenly through damp hair before blow drying. It's the perfect foundation to voluminous styles.

6. BOOST VOLUME AND SHINE

Tip your head upside down, directing your hairdryer on your roots blowdrying them the opposite way to which they grow. Throw it back, then smooth while lifting your hair in sections upwards with your brush or fingers until dry. The secret to that supermodel shine is to point the nozzle of the hairdryer down the hair.
