GET THE LOOK

Step 1
Apply Self Control to the roots and mid lengths and brush smooth and flat to the head.  I love to use a soft boar bristle brush to smooth hair for a super sleek finish.

Step 2
Tie into a ponytail with a bungee elastic.  Fantastic at keeping the tension and your Do tight and secure. I love to use them in colours matching the hair colour.

Step 3
Finish with a sprinkle of biodegradable glitter where the light reflects. And a final mist of Modern Hairspray to keep in place.

TRANSFORM YOUR DO

THE LOOK: ROCK N ROLL FEMME FATALE

THE FEEL: Lavish volume, with soft bouncy texture and a lived-in rock n roll finish.

STYLE TIME: 30-40 mins (depending on hair length)

PRODUCTS YOU NEED: Cool Girl Volume Foam, Modern Hairspray Styling Mist, Dressed to Kill Define and Defrizz Crème

GET THE LOOK:

Step 1
Apply Cool Girl Volume Foam to your hair from the root to the ends. If you’re pushed for time, pump the foam onto your hairbrush and brush it through your hair for a mess-free and speedy application.

Step 2
Tip your head upside down and blow dry using your fingers or a styling brush.

Step 3
Flip the head back and grab a medium set of hair tongs – I love BaByliss Pro 32mm Curling Tongs

Step 4
Mist sections of hair with Modern Hairspray before wrapping each section around the curling tong and clipping the hair into place to set. Watch my backstage tutorial for your step-by-step guide on this styling technique. 

Step 5
Wait for your hair to cool – this is important because it will ensure your waves last – remove the clips and brush your hair through gently.

Step 6
Finish your Do by smoothing my Dressed to Kill Crème through your hair to tame any flyaways, de-fluff and refine.

THE FEEL: The imperfect blow dry. Shiny, lustrous, healthy hair. Not too straight but no wave.

STYLE TIME: 15 – 20 min (depending on hair length)

Step 1
To freshly washed hair mist Save the Do through lengths.

Step 2
Using a paddle brush blowdry your hair smooth. Separate the hair in sections for a pro finish blowdry. I love sectioning clips like the Framar ones as they work no matter how long and thick your hair is. Top tip for your best blowdry ever- point the nozzle of the hairdryer down the hair to smooth the cuticle and boost shine.

Step 3
Finish with Happy Endings to define, defluff and defrizz and of course seal those slit ends.
