One of our hottest questions in summer is how to recreate sea-kissed waves without having to dip your hair in the ocean. The high salt content of the sea makes your hair strands swell, causing roughness, texture and definition; however, salt water draws out water from the hair fibre, to leave your hair dehydrated, weakened and prone to breakage. Furthermore, for anyone with dyed or highlighted hair, salt water can pull the colour out to leave your strands lacklustre. In other words, healthy hair and the ocean don't go hand in hand.
