COMMON HAIR MYTHS - DEBUNKED!
Pass it on.

YOU CAN'T MEND SPLIT ENDS - YOU HAVE TO CHOP THEM OFF
Once upon a time, this was true; now, it's not, thanks to the advancement and sophistication of hair product formulations. For example, my Deeper Love Intense Treatment Mask that contains strengthening Rep’Hair® and restorative Crodabond™, and my multitasking styling and conditioning balm Happy Endings that is enriched with Vegabead microcapsules, are clinically proven to mend split ends by 50% in just one use. No need for the chop after all!
- A CLEANSING CONDITIONER IS JUST FOR CURLS
A cleansing conditioner is an excellent addition to any haircare routine. Still, it is particularly beneficial to hair that needs hydration, can be hard to manage and is prone to breakage or frizz, such as curl-patterned, over-processed or hair in need of some extra TLC.
My Curl Cleanse gently cleanses the hair and scalp whilst providing the nourishment and hydration of a conditioner in one wash. Your hair is left soft, smooth, manageable, frizz-free and naturally defined.

MY HAIR GETS USED TO PRODUCTS, AND THEN THEY STOPPED WORKING
The products have continued working; but your hair has changed, so you need to adapt how you care for it.
Throughout our lives, our hair changes colour, condition, texture, volume... and this is due to ageing, stress, chemical treatments, heat styling, genetics, medication, menopause, pregnancy - the list goes on. The good news is that you don't need to commit to one shampoo and one conditioner. Instead, choose care products that benefit your hair's needs and the season you are in. For example, in winter, hair needs more hydration than in other months; in summer, it needs added protection and post summer, deeper nourishment and repair.
Additionally, if you have been using a care ritual to help improve the condition of your hair, it may be that you have actually achieved your goals and that it's time to move onto different products to help maintain your hair health and goals. -
PLUCKING ONE GREY HAIR CAUSES MORE TO GROW IN ITS PLACE
Plucking a grey hair does not cause multiple grey hairs to grow in its place. Each hair follicle can only produce one hair, so plucking a grey hair will not result in more grey hairs growing. However, constant plucking can damage the hair follicle, leading to potential hair loss, so it's best to embrace the greys or use hair dyes if desired.
