Bringing sexy back at the Dsquared2 Fall 2023 show

Every fashion season, Team McKnight work with hundreds of models – all with different hair types/ lengths/ textures. As my products are for all hair, this provides us with the perfect opportunity to road-test new formulations. If a product works at a show where performance is vital, and there's no room for error, then we know if it will work for you too.

On Friday, at the Dsquared2 Ready to Wear show in Milan, after four years of product development and backstage tried and testing, I gave my soon-to-be-launched Perfect Mess Sculpting Clay and Dressed to Kill Define and Defrizz Crème final approval. We worked with over 40 models at the co-ed show, and both products stood out and performed brilliantly.

The hair look was inspired by the early 80s (one of my favourite style eras!) with a heavy serving of sexy and luxe. The girl's face included lashings of soft volume, waves and flicks, which we used Perfect Mess and Cool Girl Texturising Mist to create. And for the boys, we enhanced their hair's natural texture and amplified it with Dressed to Kill.
