Our entire Care and Styling collections are sulfate and paraben-free.

Are your products cruelty-free and vegan?
All of our products are cruelty free, and every product is Vegan except for Perfect Mess, which is formulated with Beeswax.

I have a sensitive scalp. Which of your products should I use?
Our Light, Rich and Volume Cleanse are all Kind to Biome®, a Swedish certification for science-backed skincare brands that make skin and scalp microbiome-gentle products. The Kind to Biome® Quality Mark ensures skin and scalp microbiome-gentleness of the products and its ingredients. However, if your scalp is highly sensitive or if you suffer from scalp conditions, we do recommend you consult your doctor or trichologist to determine whether you should be using medical grade cleansers.

Are your products suitable for colour-treated hair?
The gentle formulation of our products means colour is not stripped from your hair. For colour-protection, our Rich Cleanse is formulated with Quinoa Pro, A natural sustainable protein packed with 17 amino acids to not only strengthen and repair damaged hair, but protect your colour from external stresses for longer-lasting vibrancy.

Which of your products contain heat protection?
Save The Do and Volume Foam both protect against the heat and force of a hairdryer. For even more heat protection, Modern Hairspray protects up to 230°C.

I have a problem with the delivery of my order.
If there is an issue with your delivery, please check your order confirmation and tracking link to determine whether the order has been delivered to the given shipping address. If there is still a problem, please contact info@sammcknight.com with your order number and we will do our best to assist.

I have entered an incorrect shipping address.
We are not liable for orders that are delivered to an address that was entered incorrectly at checkout. If you have entered an incorrect address, please contact info@sammcknight.com, or log into Royal Mail/DPD via your tracking link to update your address. Please note that address updates are not always possible.

I would like to amend or cancel my order.
It is not always possible for us to cancel, change the shipping method or contents of your order once these have been confirmed at checkout. Please contact info@sammcknight.com as soon as possible and we will do our best to assist. Alternatively, we would recommend that you decline the delivery of your order so the order is sent back to us.
